Based on the size guide I ordered a size 6 but probably could have worn size 5 as well. Generous fit but designed in a way that is flattering overall, and the sleeve length falls just above the elbow, which is perfect for me as it covers my more mature arms. I love everything about it - design and fabric - and can easily wear the collar up, which I prefer.

This is the third DB X Wyse cotton shirt I’ve bought now and this is as good as the others. In a lovely lightweight fabric, I ordered my usual size 3 and is great with a slightly oversized look. You could possibly size down if you have a smaller bust.

Already having the white long sleeved DB shirt and knowing its versatility and style, I had to try this version. It did not disappoint. I have the long sleeved version of this in linen and love it. I did not love this as much as it felt like a uniform tunic when on. I am sure this is me rather than the shirt but am holding out for the stripy linen one as I find the linen less formal.

At Wyse our sizing works a little differently to other brands but we promise it is easy enough once you get the hang of it. We go from a Wyse 0 to a Wyse 6 which equates to a UK 6 to a UK 18.

We have put together an easy-to-use size and fit guide below.

How to measure

A. Bust:

Please measure across the fullest part of your bust, around your body.

B. Waist:

Please measure the smallest part of your natural waist, around your body.

C. Sleeve Length:

Please measure from your shoulder crown to your wrist bone.

D.Low Hip:

Please measure the fullest part of your hip, approximately 20cm down from your natural waist, around your body.

E. Inside Leg:

Please measure from the highest point on your inside leg down to your ankle bone.
